Are all LS oil pans interchangeable?
Per Dirty Dingo, all Gen III/IV LS oil pans bolt to any Gen III/IV block; the limits are crank stroke clearance and the pressure-relief valve required for AFM/VVT engines (M14x1.5 if plugged, 30–40 ft-lb). Chassis clearance is the real deciding factor.
