How much does it cost to LS swap a boat?

We haven't sourced enough marine parts pricing to quote a total. It depends heavily on the drive (outdrive, V-drive or jet) and on whether you buy a pre-marinized LS or convert one.

The line items to budget, from the builds and suppliers we've looked at:

• the engine;
• a marine carburetor or EFI system, plus an ignition controller;
• a marine exhaust (LSX Magazine notes economical LS boat headers are hard to find);
• a marine accessory drive and cooling system;
• engine mounts;
• a flywheel/coupler for your drive.
