How to LS swap a Jeep Wrangler JK: parts list and steps

JK LS swaps are fabrication-level work. The sourced example is GenRight Off Road's JK Elite LS engine and 4L80 transmission mounts ($799.99):

• Engine block plates and two frame-side engine mounts with hard urethane isolators.
• The mounts shift the engine toward the passenger side to clear the upper front link and front axle at full bump.
• A 4L80 transmission mount with an Atlas transfer-case support bracket, which is welded on at install to match your T-case clocking.
• Install requires cutting the factory mounts, grinding and welding.
• The kit is made for use with GenRight's complete JK Elite suspension system.

GenRight also offers an LS accessory bracket kit (GM alternator and power steering pump), a Griffin LS radiator, an aluminum oil pan with remote-filter routing, an aFe intake, and LS headers (not California smog legal).
