Will a big cam cause vacuum/brake booster problems in an E36 LS swap?
It can. Speedway notes that big engine and cam combinations can have trouble supplying enough vacuum for standard power brakes.
If vacuum is short, hydroboost (powered by the power steering pump) avoids it — but hydroboost units are long (the CPP units are about 22 in), so measure the E36 firewall area before committing. We don't have an E36-specific brake source.
