Will an LS6 valley cover or a catch can stop my LS from drinking oil through the PCV?
A catch can (air/oil separator) is the proven fix for PCV-related oil consumption: it traps oil vapor in the PCV line before it reaches the intake (OnAllCylinders). Improved Racing and others sell LS-specific kits. Pair it with a low-volatility oil. We don't have a sourced test of the LS6 valley cover's effect yet, so we can't recommend it on evidence. If your engine has AFM, rising oil use can also come from the AFM system itself (Speedway).
